Chandra

I didn’t set out to become a Tarot reader.

For many years, my world was the structured, demanding world of apparel and fashion merchandising. I worked across sourcing, business development and international markets, where everything had a deadline, a deliverable and a plan. Yet alongside that very practical life, I had always been drawn to the language of symbolism, intuition and the questions that don’t always have straightforward answers.

My journey into Tarot wasn’t a sudden departure from who I was. In many ways, it brought together parts of me that had been developing for years.

When I eventually began reading Tarot professionally, I discovered that people rarely come to the cards simply to ask, “What will happen?” More often, they come when something feels unclear. They are standing at a crossroads, trying to understand a relationship, a decision, a transition or simply what they are experiencing within themselves.

That is where I see the real value of Tarot.

I don’t see Tarot as a crystal ball. I see it as a mirror.

The cards can bring patterns, possibilities and perspectives into view, but they don’t take away your agency. They give you something to reflect on, so that you can make your own choices with greater awareness. This is why I often think of Tarot as a kind of cosmic GPS. It can help you read the terrain, but you remain the one holding the wheel.

Over the years, this approach has shaped TELLATALETAROT and the way I conduct my readings. I don’t believe a Tarot reading should leave you dependent on the cards or fearful of what lies ahead. I want it to leave you with clarity, perspective and something you can actually work with.

Today, after 13 years of reading Tarot and more than 50,000 reading sessions, I continue to work with people one-on-one, bringing together experience, intuition, symbolism and a grounded understanding of the human stories behind the cards.

My work has also grown beyond readings. Through my tutorials, videos and other educational work, I enjoy making Tarot less intimidating and helping people move beyond memorising card meanings towards actually understanding the story a spread is telling.

For me, Tarot has never been about telling someone what their future must look like.

It is about creating a moment to pause, look deeper, see what may have been difficult to see before, and reconnect with your own inner knowing.

That is the space I hope to create for every person who sits across the table from me.

Love and Light, Chandra ✨
